Demons Are Like Cockroaches

If you see a cockroach in your house and go over and squash it, what is your reaction? Are you relieved you killed the intruder or are you purposed to go after all its comrades you know must also be in proximity? 3. It’s more helpful to get rid of many of them and not just the ones that are visible. You might ask where I get this viewpoint from. Apart from practical experience in ministry, we also see this phenomenon in Scripture. Jesus, in Luke 8:27-39, was confronted by a man who was demonized. He made a brief inquiry of the man (“What is your name?”) and the demons responded, “Legion” because many demons had gone into him. When he was delivered by Jesus, we know that the demons, whatever the number, entered into the pigs and tormented them into driving themselves into a lake to drown. As a matter of interest, in the parlance of the time, the term “legion” was applied to a grouping of Roman soldiers. There were typically six thousand (!) soldiers in a Roman legion. Does that mean the man had six thousand demons?

We’ll not know the answer to that question this side of eternity however we can say that there was a sufficient number to drive a herd (of unknown size) of pigs to their demise! We have seen that often people, when they are seeking deliverance ministry, typically have more and different demonic strongholds than they might have surmised. Some are quite confident that they know the number and names of the spirits that they have and their list is often accurate but incomplete. They are even offended if we want to call out more! Coming back to our cockroach analogy, how many are comfortable only dealing with the vermin that they can see? Some ministries focuses on identifying specific spirits and trying to determine specific open doors. That can be a daunting and imprecise task! Another approach, which we believe is preferable, is focused on on trying to identify open doors rather individual spirits.

These doors can be identified during the course of homework and preparation. Once those open doors are closed then the person is more likely to receive a viable and lasting deliverance. By making the focus on closing open doors and calling out spirits from a strongholds list, it is much less likely that something will get missed. It is not at all unusual for us to people get set free from spirits they did not know they had. One one occasion, I called out a spirit of murder from a man and he (and I!) were very surprised at the manifestation. He did not have that stronghold circled on his list and there was no prior indication that he had that. Anger was a huge issue in his life but that other spirit had laid dormant. The fact is that demonic spirits, as part of their plan to kill, steal and destroy, are often able to hide successfully in people. As a result, a person can learn to cope and co-exist with these devils at best or try to medicate them at worst!

Utilizing a mini hand duster helps make this task much easier. Take your time, using a flashlight to examine cracks. People often get upset when they find German cockroaches in their home, especially when their home is spotless and next to immaculate. Roaches don’t need much food to thrive. Each German roach egg sac contains between 28-36 roaches. Once they hatch, they go from nymph to adult in 2 weeks and are ready to multiply again. If you get even 2 egg sacs hatched in your house, you’ve got yourself an infestation. Spraying roaches with an over-the-counter aerosol insecticide won’t do much to stop a growing population. Even applying a pesticide barrier around the outside or inside of your home doesn’t deter them either. You usually carry them right in through your front door in boxes, paper bags or crates. Where and how a pesticide is applied is an important part of getting an infestation under control. Many of the chemicals professional pest control companies use are actually less toxic and more environmental friendly than retail, over the counter pesticides. Yet, they’re also more effective in controlling and getting rid of targeted pests. A wet spray for highly infested areas would be recommended for the initial cleanout of German roaches. Spraying under sinks and in cabinets with a water based, low toxic solution (Suspend) would be the first step. Let it dry for about 3 hours before allowing pets and children back in the area. The second step would be the placement of roach bait stations (Maxforce) under sinks and in cabinets. Placements of these stations are critical to your success. Place the stations in corners under the sink and cabinets. I recommend placing it high in the cabinets rather than low. Stick them along the joints in dark areas. Replace them every month for the first 3 months then every 3 months after that.

The Best Way To Get Rid Of Termites

Termites are among the most dangerous pests because they can destroy a house in only a few years. They feed themselves on wood, therefore causing a building to collapse under its own weight. There are a few methods to get rid of termites which you can try before asking for specialized help. For instance, boric acid is one of the most effective and inexpensive way to eliminate pests such as termites and ants. Boric acid is an appealing food for termites, but its ingestion will cause their nervous system to shut down and dehydrate. The next step for a termite who ingested boric acid is death. If you suspect a termite infection, spray your wood furniture or house elements with boric acid, then wait to see if you find any carcasses nearby. For more effectiveness, you could also plant a boric acid bait station nearby the infestation site. Beneficial nematodes are another way to keep termites away. These nematodes are worms which are natural parasites for termites.

There are also other chemicals which are available for professional use only, but which are way more harmful to insects than they are to humans. It is common that chemicals with highest effectiveness rates are available only for professionals, because their misuse would be too dangerous for people or for pets. However, if the products you bought from stores prove to be ineffective, you should strongly consider hiring a pest killing service, if you care about your house. The colony is run by the female queen who lays hundreds of eggs. There are males and workers who carry on responsibilities diligently every day. The workers, who are females that cannot lay eggs, go out to bring food. You may have observed that ants walk in a straight line because of the pheromone trail that is left behind. The ants can “smell” this and know that it will lead to food. Ants can eat a variety of food. They are attracted to all sorts of food like candies.
